Slow Leaves is the self-contained solo project of Grant Davidson. He has been nominated for several Western Canadian Music Awards and won Songwriter of the Year in 2022.

Known for songs of heart-wrenching honesty, his folk and psych-rock stylings recall older songwriters like Mickey Newbury and Nick Drake as well as more modern artists like Angel Olsen and Andy Shauf.

Davidson’s newest album, “In Solitude, For Company”, a collection of acoustic retellings of songs from his previous albums he describes as “my saddest songs made sadder”, comes out in April 2025 on Birthday Cake Records.
