Having recently signed a management deal with A Level Management, based in the UK
and USA, Manchester band, The Sick Fix, are already heading up the music industry lift
shaft with their own version of energetic garage punk that is liberally sprinkled with
musical influences throughout the decades. Be prepared to hear elements of The Small
Faces, The Sonics, The Jam, Buzzcocks, and The Fall, right up to The Libertines and
The Hives.

Listening to The Sick Fix, it’s all about music sensation: the sound of the music and the
feeling of the words. Recorded, they are sublime: live they are enthusiastic, energetic
and exhilarating. Hard to believe that these 16/17 year-olds have only been together for
around 18 months, having formed via natural selection.
But that’s the beauty of it. No point in chucking a load of musicians together and
expecting instant magnificence. There needs to be magic, sparks, and a special bond
between them all – and The Sick Fix have it…in spades.
With a planned single release of the anthemic “Shoe Shopping” backed by the
raucousness of “Liquid Gold” in early 2026, it is a respectful suggestion that you join the
band’s exhilarating elevator ride now, because that lift is going to be pretty packed out
by the time it gets to the top floor – because that is where The Sick Fix are heading.
The Sick Fix are, indeed, the best f*cking band you haven’t heard yet, and the proof of
the musical pudding is in the eating (and the viewing).
